some time ago I looked in the fridge and found an exposed film, exposed like three or four months ago. I had absolutely forgotten that I shoot it. Does that happen to you?
on the blogging note, last time I wrote something about that I'd found some photos I wanted to put up last time, but was too lazy. Well, here they are. But first you should know, they were supposed to map one whole day of mine, to every interesting detail. Yet I had two exams that day and wasn't really in the mood of making a memory of those. (you see, I had to return there again, for the same exam a week later :-| )
my first photo of the day. Wanted to show you how early I had to wake up. Though this would work on a print only. It was, hmm, I can't actualy remember, but very early, like 7am. (for those who think that 7am isn't an early hour..try being an university student. Everything earlier than noon is early morning!)
Morning revision for the test which didn't help at all. But chatting at the time wasn't quite helpfull too. I was complaining about the weather as I see, it was -16°C at the time.
Here's the hell itself. Seriously, I hate that room, ventilation designed for no more than 100 people with capacity of several hundreds, wooden seats designed to make it almost impossible to sleep or to sit there for several hours. Looks so calm in this picture.
going to, well, you will find where to when you scroll down a bit. Still deeply below zero. But the kid just wanted to slide. Now you may imagine why I don't like kids. Poor grandmother.
the beer, no more, no less. chatting about exams or economical misery of this world, like we do all the time. (Rado studies economics)
back to dorm, listening to Nu Jazz compilation. I recommend! while having facebook open, weird, I don't usually leave facebook open, very weird.
or vice versa. I had lost every race that day. The car on left is probably Miro, 240km far from Brno.
Later that same day, lady in chocolate shop. Belgian chocolate I think...I had left a lot money there during last year.
dunno what were they making a film about. Looked like they were interested in trams at first, but later I had no idea why they were at such spot.
these next shots are somekind special. They are my first color film developed in B&W chemistry. I works, though real pain in the ass to scan.
Somebody told me that this park is completely obsolete. I told him that I had seen a lot of kids there this winter, but had no proof at the time. Where here it is now. They were really enjoying the last place in the town were they actually could sledge.
wonder what's wrong with the numbering. This should be among first. The quality is just like it should be. Taken at night, during some heavy snowfall through the dirtiest window you can imagine. In the end it looks like lomo...
found this in one hidden part of Prievidza, no streetlights, though some people thought that I'd be nice to show their decoration to, hmm, ME :) because I can't really imagine why would anyone go that way I did that night. (the weird looking thing at the top: moon)
last "worth something" frame from the color process with BW chemistry scan, photosession with friends. interesting shooting style
I had to take self-portrait for ... that doesn't matter why I did it. This is one of the more interesting evenings I had undergone. This one I like the most.
if you're watching me this blog for some time you may find this shot familiar. I had taken a photo from the exact same spot some time ago. This time it was some photography exhibition opening, boring. I didn't enjoy the photographs displayed.
playing with glasses to make the image a bit more sharper. It was nice, everyone should try that at least once.
my second home, haven't been there for few months maybe, so we had few drinks and started acting a bit silly, arm-wrestling.
still home, I have no actual description for this photo. I will just write something. You know, to make it look like it's something very interesting worth few words. This has, like most of politics talk, absolutely no point. I'll at least find out if some reads this stuff.
Prievidza had a small volcano for a while :D you see, I haven't been at home for some time so I was amazed by this little hill, though you have to admit it looks a bit like a volcano
oooou yeah, my only shot from local documentary photo contest. Somebody forgot his "diploma" along with picture frame.
I had one nice chat with Lucka, about how it would be awesome to be at sea, drinking some cool colorful drinks. At the end we had to satisfy with coffee and I promised her to show the coffee I made. Here it is, my not best made latte macchiato.
Back in Brno, contemporary art exhibit, it was very, very strong red light pointed to the entrance. contemporary art, I don't quite get it...
long time deserted gardens in outer part of Brno. Shelters for homeless people and apparently for dogs too as we had to run from that place short after I took this shot.
later but the same day (the weird light is sunset, no photoshop post-process), scout camp for kids. Not quite sure with this training "monster". It's like 30m high and looks pretty dangerous. Well and looks like it's impossible to get to the top, or at least I can't imagine how a man should get to the top, it was just way too big.
this may look like low quality photo, but the point is, as you can clearly see the blue sky, with some light clouds, yet the smudges, that's an ongoing snowstorm.
interesting piece of art, the focus is completely wrong, I know. Don't know how it's possible that the sharp thing here is the tree in the very corner. I really have to check my camera for backfocus problem...
